Storage Container Delivery Requirements

Every size also needs room for the truck to turn in and line up with the spot.
What the space is for
- Straight, clear path: our truck backs in, extends and tilts its bed to set the container down, then pulls straight out. The path has to be one straight line, in line with the spot where the container will sit.
- Width: at least 12 feet along the whole path, including gates and driveway entrances, plus room for the truck to turn in.
- Overhead clearance: 20 feet, so the bed can tilt. Watch for wires, tree branches and roof overhangs.
Before delivery day
- Measure the straight, clear stretch in line with the spot where you want the container.
- Check that the path is at least 12 feet wide.
- Look up for anything lower than 20 feet over the path.

Delivery hours and fees
- We deliver Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Weekend or after-hours delivery may be available by appointment.
- Setting the container down usually takes 15 to 45 minutes.
- Delivery and pick-up are $139 each for 10′ and 20′ containers and $169 each for 40′ containers. That covers a 50-mile radius of the nearest Valtran location for 10′ and 20′ containers (ramp truck) and a 30-mile radius for 40′ containers (tractor and Landoll trailer). Farther away, we add $2.00 per mile past 50 miles (10′ and 20′) or $4.00 per mile past 30 miles (40′), one way, to each trip. See all storage container prices.
