Delivery and pick-up are one-time fees. Each covers delivery within a set radius of the nearest Valtran location: 50 miles for 10′ and 20′ containers (ramp truck) and 30 miles for 40′ containers (tractor and Landoll trailer). Farther away, we add $2.00 per mile past 50 miles for 10′ and 20′ containers, or $4.00 per mile past 30 miles for 40′ containers, one way, to each trip. Example: a 20′ container 60 miles from our nearest location is $159 to deliver and $159 to pick up. Call (800) 813-2188 for an exact price.
How billing works
- Month-to-month. Keep your container as long as you need it. There is no long-term contract.
- Billed on your delivery date. Your monthly billing date is the anniversary of the day we dropped off your container.
- No deposit and no credit card required to reserve.
- Payment: we accept checks and credit cards.
All rentals are governed by the terms and conditions of Valtran’s Standard Rental Agreement.
Delivery and pick-up
- We deliver Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Weekend or after-hours delivery may be available by appointment.

- Setting the container down usually takes 15 to 45 minutes, sometimes a little longer to place it exactly where you want it.
- When you are done, call us with the date you would like it picked up. Please leave the container empty and easy to reach.
- Need a container moved? Moving a loaded rental container, or an empty container you own, is $350 minimum for a 20′ and $600 minimum for a 40′, plus $4.00 (20′) or $6.00 (40′) per mile past 30 miles. We move loaded containers within Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, with up to 3,000 lb of contents. See our container moving service.
Storage at a Valtran yard
No room on your property? We can keep your container at our West Bridgewater, Assonet or Mashpee yard for an extra $100 per month on top of the container rental.
- West Bridgewater: gated. Use your own gate code to reach your container Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, no appointment needed.
- Assonet and Mashpee: by appointment.
